It is recommended to complete 4-6 sessions 2-4 weeks apart and then have 4 maintenance sessions per year if needed. Your therapist will assist in determining which peel or which cocktail of peels will best suit your individual needs.
Preparation and downtime:
Although some of the peels do not require preparation, some of them do require you to be using specific homecare for 2 weeks prior to your peel. Your therapist will advise you if this is required for your treatment. There is no downtime for the AHA Enzyme Peel, however for the remaining peels, you may experience some redness, inflammation and mild to moderate peeling for 1-5 days post peel. The stronger the peel, the more intense the downtime is.
