PDO Mono threads or “short threads” are short biodegradable filaments coated in a stimulatory material (PDO – polydioxanone). They are inserted under the skin, much like scaffolding on a building, to stimulate neocollagenesis (production of new collagen and elastin), firming and smoothing fine lines, wrinkles and ‘crepey’ skin on the face and neck.

They are super quick, not too painful, and the results can last for years. The procedure involves placing needles in the skin, which are preloaded with a PDO thread.
