The Carbon Spectra Peel also known as the ‘China Doll Peel’ (named for its porcelain doll like finish to the skin) or “Hollywood Facial” for its popularity with A list stars, is an innovative laser resurfacing treatment that uses the power of laser energy and carbon to treat skin.

The treatment uses a thin layer of carbon which is applied to the skin surface and then a Q-switched laser is directed to the area to explode the carbon. When the carbon is lasered, it removes dead skin build up in the pores and the inner walls of the pores. The treatment stimulates new collagen and the promotion of a healthier complexion. The treatment is pain free and suited to many skin conditions.

This treatment treats uneven skin tone, acne and congested skin and pigmentation. It is also deeply purifying and brightening and suits those who wish to brighten their complexion and deeply cleanse their pores, reduce excessive oils and exfoliate the skin. The treatment stimulates collagen for firmer and plumper skin, improves skin tone and texture and enhances radiance.

There is no preparation or downtime associated with this treatment. Some clients may however experience some slight redness and tingling for a few hours post treatment. There may also be temporary hair removal or hair lightening to the treated area.

It is recommended to have 4-6 treatments every 2-4 weeks.
